Building a connected school, district, and university.

Startclass has made it easier than ever before to connect with your students, parents, instructors, and admins. We have approached education from the top down. This means that we are connecting districts and universities, and then schools, and then departments, and finally classes.

So why is this a big deal? Well for starters, you can stop spending countless dollars on promoting Facebook pages, Twitter handles, and Instagram pages. Admins have dedicated channels to share updates quickly and effectively with everyone.

This means Bob in IT can finally make sure everyone is aware that there won't be any WiFi in the library between 3 pm and 6 pm. This means Lisa from enrollment can tell everyone that tomorrow is the last day to drop their classes, and this is just the start.

Classes enable instructors to effectively communicate information with students and admins.

Schools have channels to keep parents, students, and admins up-to-date with the latest news.

Districts and Universities all have a news feed for mass updates. No more mass emails.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to use my school email to create an account?

Yes. By using your school email, we are able to auto-associate you to your school, district, or university. If you don't use your school email you may be left out of school updates.

I also instruct some classes, should I sign up as an admin?

If your primary role is Admin related (e.g. Head of School, Department Chairperson, Director of IT) you should sign up as an admin and create classes with that account. However, you can also create a second account inside of Startclass which you could use as your instructing account.

Can admins create classes and groups?

Yes! In fact, admins are encouraged to create classes and groups if it makes sense. We want to help you build a well-connected network with your constituents.
